शंकर जी का भगवान के प्रति प्रेम

  भवानीशंकरौ वन्दे श्रद्धाविश्वासरूपिणौ।

याभ्यां विना न पश्यन्ति सिद्धाः स्वान्तःस्थमीश्वरम्‌॥

भावार्थ:-श्रद्धा और विश्वास के स्वरूप श्री पार्वतीजी और श्री शंकरजी की मैं वंदना करता हूँ, जिनके बिना सिद्धजन अपने अन्तःकरण में स्थित ईश्वर को नहीं देख सकते॥

I offer obeisance to Shree Parvatiji and Shree Shankarji in the form of reverence and faith, without whom Siddhajans cannot see the God in their conscience.

एहि महँ रघुपति नाम उदारा। अति पावन पुरान श्रुति सारा॥

मंगल भवन अमंगल हारी। उमा सहित जेहि जपत पुरारी॥1॥

भावार्थ:-

इसमें श्री रघुनाथजी का उदार नाम है, जो अत्यन्त पवित्र है, वेद-पुराणों का सार है, कल्याण का भवन है और अमंगलों को हरने वाला है, जिसे पार्वतीजी सहित भगवान शिवजी सदा जपा करते हैं॥

It has the benevolent name of Shri Raghunathji, which is very sacred, is the essence of Vedas and Puranas, is the building of welfare and is about to defeat the immortals, which Lord Shiva, along with Parvati ji, always chants.

मंगल करनि कलिमल हरनि तुलसी कथा रघुनाथ की।

गति कूर कबिता सरित की ज्यों सरित पावन पाथ की॥

प्रभु सुजस संगति भनिति भलि होइहि सुजन मन भावनी

भव अंग भूति मसान की सुमिरत सुहावनि पावनी॥

भावार्थ:-

तुलसीदासजी कहते हैं कि श्री रघुनाथजी की कथा कल्याण करने वाली और कलियुग के पापों को हरने वाली है। मेरी इस भद्दी कविता रूपी नदी की चाल पवित्र जल वाली नदी (गंगाजी) की चाल की भाँति टेढ़ी है। प्रभु श्री रघुनाथजी के सुंदर यश के संग से यह कविता सुंदर तथा सज्जनों के मन को भाने वाली हो जाएगी। श्मशान की अपवित्र राख भी श्री महादेवजी के अंग के संग से सुहावनी लगती है और स्मरण करते ही पवित्र करने वाली होती है।

Tulsidasji says that the story of Shri Raghunathji is about welfare and defeating the sins of Kali Yuga.  The trick of my ugly poem Rupi River is like the trick of a river of holy water (Gangaji).  With the grace of Lord Raghunathji's beautiful fame, this poem will become beautiful and pleasing to the minds of gentlemen.  The unholy ashes of the crematorium also look beautiful with the body of Shri Mahadevji and it is purifying as soon as it is remembered.

एक अनीह अरूप अनामा। अज सच्चिदानंद पर धामा॥

ब्यापक बिस्वरूप भगवाना। तेहिं धरि देह चरित कृत नाना॥

भावार्थ:-

जो परमेश्वर एक है, जिनके कोई इच्छा नहीं है, जिनका कोई रूप और नाम नहीं है, जो अजन्मा, सच्चिदानन्द और परमधाम है और जो सबमें व्यापक एवं विश्व रूप हैं, उन्हीं भगवान ने दिव्य शरीर धारण करके नाना प्रकार की लीला की है॥

The bhagvan who is one, who has no desire, who has no form and name, who is unborn, Sachchidanand and Paramdham and who is all-pervasive and universal in form, the same God, wearing a divine body, has taken many types of leela.

सो केवल भगतन हित लागी। परम कृपाल प्रनत अनुरागी॥

जेहि जन पर ममता अति छोहू। जेहिं करुना करि कीन्ह न कोहू॥

भावार्थ:-

वह लीला केवल भक्तों के हित के लिए ही है, क्योंकि भगवान परम कृपालु हैं और शरणागत के बड़े प्रेमी हैं। जिनकी भक्तों पर बड़ी ममता और कृपा है, जिन्होंने एक बार जिस पर कृपा कर दी, उस पर फिर कभी क्रोध नहीं किया॥

That Leela is only for the benefit of the devotees, because God is supremely compassionate and a great lover of refuge.  Those who have great affection and kindness on their devotees, who once gave mercy to them, never resented that.

उमा जे राम चरन रत बिगत काम मद क्रोध। निज प्रभुमय देखहिं जगत् केहि सन करहिं बिरोध॥

भावार्थ:-

(शिव जी कहते हैं-) हे उमा! जो श्रीराम जी के चरणों के प्रेमी हैं और काम, अभिमान तथा क्रोध से रहित हैं, वे जगत् को अपने प्रभु से भरा हुआ देखते हैं, फिर वे किससे वैर करें॥

(Shiva ji says-) O Uma!  Those who are lovers of Shri Ram's feet and are devoid of work, pride and anger, they see the world full of their Lord, then whom should they hate?

औरउ एक गुपुत मत सबहि कहउँ कर जोरि।

संकर भजन बिना नर भगति न पावइ मोरि॥

भावार्थ

और भी एक गुप्त मत है, मैं उसे सबसे हाथ जोड़कर कहता हूँ कि शंकरजी के भजन बिना मनुष्य मेरी भक्ति नहीं पाता॥

There is another secret opinion, I tell him with folded hands that without Bhajan of Shankar ji, man cannot attain my devotion.
